Be More Than Another Face In The Crowd At Cardio Tone

By Elisha Neubauer

Cardio Tone, located in San Francisco, California, has always been focused on a sense of community. Opened eight years ago by Rachel Aram, the company became a champion for the love of fitness and the joining of community members. Shomrat Sarkar felt so enamored by the sense of family fostered by the studios that he decided to purchase them and carry on their community-driven ambiance.

The class-based studio encourages students to develop friendships within the classes, both with other students and instructors. This bonding creates a sense of welcoming to any new and existing clients, while inspiring students to boost each other up throughout the workout process.

"Our instructors connect with members and work hard to make sure they are reaching their goals as well as feeling that the workouts are tailored to their abilities," Jenn Philpot, General Manager of Cardio Tone, said. "We are all about having fun while you work out and leaving our egos at the door!"

Due to the class-based structure, instructors are with you every step of the way. They check in with students before and after each class, ensuring that everyone stays on track and to encourage successful goal completion. While it is a group setting, each student has the ability to get personal attention and voice their opinions regarding what they feel they are getting out of the workouts.

"Cardio Tone is a great place to work out if you want more than what a traditional gym can offer," Philpot said.

As each class is directed by a highly-qualified instructor, you are directed with support and encouragement. You won't find yourself walking in to a gym filled with overwhelming machines which you don't understand and you won't feel like just another face in the crowd.

"Our intimate approach to fitness ensures that you will be a valued member and your voice will be heard as well and appreciated," Philpot said.

Cardio Tone promotes a feeling of acceptance. Members are able to walk into any class and immediately feel welcomed, able to make connections and develop friendships while simultaneously complete a successful workout.

"Our members are incredibly important to us and it is our goal to ensure you are happy and feel like you are always getting your money's worth," Philpot said.
